Here is what I started with; my truck right after I bought it.
I had some parts waiting for me when I got back from Afghanistan.
Here it is with new mirrors and clear corners.
From the back.
Once the weather was nice my friend's and I installed the headers. I had to jack the engine up to get the passenger side header to fit.
Bird's eye view.
Passenger's side clearance wasn't that great for the big headers.
Passenger's side is in.
Driver's side.
Exhaust was next. Here you can see the dual 3.5" cutouts.
You can see the cutouts a bit better from this angle.
Here's the back part of the exhaust. It reduces to a single 3" pipe after the cutouts and goes into a 3" Flowmaster muffler. I'm not sure what series it is; it was on the truck when I bought it. It's pretty mellow, though.
Shot of the QTECs. I really need to paint the exhaust so it doesn't rust anymore.
Just having a little fun.
A little bit of rubber in the fenderwell.
Here's my car and truck shortly after I lowered my truck. My 280Z has a SBC.
I decided to peel off the side molding very carefully. Yeah.
I finally got my new wheels and tires.
From the back.
Another shot from the back.
It was raining and the front end slid out. Dammit.
I suck.
Here is a fairly recent shot of the engine. Nothing special.
Some 781 heads I bought. Still need an intake/carb/cam. I got the scooter for free, still trying to get it running.
