My wife and I bought the truck from my father-in-law's estate.  The truck was already lowered and the cowl hood installed.  The truck needed an engine overhaul and paint.  In 2003 we had the engine rebuilt only to have the engine builder take it out for a joy ride.  He lost control and ran the truck through a chain link fence.  After several heated discussions, the engine builder paid for the repairs and new paint job.  Our truck is now a fair weather vehicle and only driven to car shows and late night cruises around town.
